Ticketed event

Filipino Heritage Night sits inside a Sounders match. Saturday, October 17, 2026, Seattle Sounders FC play CF Montréal at Lumen Field, 800 Occidental Avenue South. Kickoff is 7:30 p.m. The Filipino Community of Seattle lists the night as 7:30 to 9:30.
Come early if you care about the culture card. FCS says cultural dance in the North Plaza starts at 6:45 p.m., with Filipino food trucks and a small-business marketplace. Lumen Field’s listing for this match puts gates at 6:30 p.m. You need a ticket. The North Plaza sits inside the gate.
Last year was the first Sounders Filipino Heritage Night: August 3, 2025, versus Santos Laguna in Leagues Cup, with a belt-bag offer. 2026 is year two, moved into Filipino American History Month. Local artist Shayla Hufana, who works as ConceptShell, designed a limited-edition heritage scarf. Her studio page says tickets bought through that offer include the scarf, and that a portion of the sale goes back to FCS. The Sounders ticket-offers hub does not always keep every bundle on the homepage. Start at the FCS event page, then the club’s offers list, then Hufana’s note.
FCS was founded in 1935 as the Philippine Commonwealth Council of Seattle. It is a 501(c)(3) on Martin Luther King Jr. Way South, at 5740, the old Empire Bowling Alley the group bought in 1965 and rebuilt in 2008. The center runs housing, senior meals, youth programs, and arts. A stadium night is how they meet people who will not make it to Rainier Valley on a Saturday. The office number is (206) 430-7030.
Diwa is the sit-down film weekend, October 3–4, at Wing Luke. Pista sa Nayon in July was the outdoor day at Seward Park. CID Night Market closed September 26 on King Street. This is the SoDo version: one dance set, then 90 minutes of soccer. The North Plaza is the outdoor concourse on the stadium’s north side, the same side you see from Occidental when the lights come on. Food trucks live there on regular matchdays too. The heritage hour is the extra reason to be through the gate by 6:45.
Link to International District/Chinatown or Stadium Station. The Weller Street Bridge is the usual walk from the ID. Sound Transit also runs extra buses on some matchdays. Driving means the North Lot, the Lumen Field Garage, or Union Station parking, and a slow exit. Sounders sales: (877) 657-4625.
Our take: buy the heritage offer if you already wanted this match. The 6:45 dance is the reason to clear the gate at 6:30. If you want a free Filipino afternoon, you already had Pagdiriwang in June and Pista in July. This night is for people who like both the scarf and the scoreline.
When: October 17, 2026, dance 6:45 p.m., kickoff 7:30 p.m.
Where: Lumen Field, 800 Occidental Ave S, Seattle, WA 98134
