Friends of India Diwali 2026 at Alexis Park in Las Vegas
Friends of India Las Vegas holds Diwali on Sunday, November 15, 2026, 3:00 to 10:00 p.m. at Alexis Park Resort. Non-members pay $60. Tickets at the door cost $10 more.
Tickets from $30
Friends of India Las Vegas holds its Diwali Celebration on Sunday, November 15, 2026, from 3:00 to 10:00 p.m. in the ballroom at Alexis Park Resort, 375 East Harmon Avenue. Life members pay $30. Members pay $40. Children 6 to 16 pay $30. Non-members pay $60. A ticket bought at the door costs $10 more than the advance price.
The evening includes a culture program, a talent show, a DJ dance, and a buffet from KN Catering. Guru Sanchita Bhattacharya and her troupe perform a piece called Sapta Avatar. The group describes itself as a 501(c)(3) that runs festival nights for the Indian community in the valley. This is one of those nights, with a ticket, not a free temple mela.
The Hindu and Jain Temple of Las Vegas publishes Diwali on Sunday, November 8, and Annakut on Sunday, November 15, on its puja calendar. It does not post mela hours or a public festival schedule next to those dates. The temple is at 1701 Sageberry Drive. If you want a puja, that calendar is the one to call about. If you want a ticketed dinner and a show, Friends of India is the listing with a clock and a price.
Who this is for: families who will pay for a long indoor evening and a buffet. Skip it if you need a free outdoor festival. The Asian Lantern Festival at Desert Breeze is October 24. The Filipino short-film gala is November 1. This dinner is the ticketed one on November 15.
Alexis Park sits east of the Strip, on Harmon, not on Las Vegas Boulevard. You are close enough to rideshare from a Strip hotel and far enough that dress shoes are a bad walking plan. The ballroom is indoors. Seven hours is a long booking. The program, the play, the buffet, and the DJ are stacked across the afternoon and evening, and the page does not say which hour the dance starts. Ask at the door when you arrive if you are only coming for the troupe.
Our take: buy ahead if you are not a member, because the door price adds $10. Go for the buffet and Sapta Avatar. Use the temple's November 8 listing separately if that Sunday is the religious day you actually needed.
When: November 15, 2026, 3:00–10:00 p.m. (non-members $60; door tickets add $10)
Where: Alexis Park Resort, 375 E Harmon Ave, Las Vegas, NV
