Studio Ghibli Market pop-up at Del Amo Fashion Center

Donguri Republic, the official Studio Ghibli merchandise chain in Japan, opened its first U.S. pop-up on June 23, 2026 at Del Amo Fashion Center in Torrance. The limited run continues through December 31, 2026 at shop No. 179 near AMC Theatres and Mitsuwa Marketplace.

The store carries more than 400 officially licensed products inspired by My Neighbor Totoro, Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, Princess Mononoke, Kiki's Delivery Service, and other Ghibli titles. Displays include themed interiors and a large Totoro figure at a bus stop, matching the playful retail design Donguri Republic is known for in Japan.

Opening promotions have included a limited-edition Los Angeles tote for purchases of $100 or more while supplies last. Fans attending Studio Ghibli Fest 2026 screenings can also receive collectible film-style bookmarks with qualifying in-store purchases of at least $10 when they show a ticket from an eligible festival screening.

Practical planning

Del Amo Fashion Center sits in the South Bay, a manageable drive from much of greater Los Angeles and Orange County. Hours are Monday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Sunday, 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Parking is mall-standard; weekends can get crowded when Ghibli Fest screenings and holiday shopping overlap.
