Rosé will perform at LACMA's Art+Film Gala
LACMA booked Rosé as the musical guest for its November 7 Art+Film Gala, honoring Vija Celmins and Denis Villeneuve. She has already attended the dinner twice.

The Los Angeles County Museum of Art said Tuesday that Rosé will be the musical guest at its Art+Film Gala on Saturday, November 7. It is the 15th annual. The night honors Vija Celmins, the Latvia-born artist whose ocean prints are already in the collection, and Denis Villeneuve, the director of Dune.
Dune: Part Three opens December 18, about six weeks after this dinner.
Eva Chow, a LACMA trustee, and Leonardo DiCaprio co-chair for the 15th year in a row. Gucci is the presenting sponsor, as it has been since the gala began in 2011. Audi is providing transportation.
Chow's statement calls Rosé a global pop superstar who will "amplify the spirit of the evening with her incomparable talent and style."
Rosé is Roseanne Park, also Park Chae-young, born in Auckland and raised in Melbourne, and BLACKPINK's main vocalist. She has been to this dinner twice.
On November 5, 2022, she wore a hooded Saint Laurent dress to the gala that honored Korean director Park Chan-wook, of Oldboy and Decision to Leave, with Light and Space artist Helen Pashgian. She came back on November 4, 2023, in a floral Saint Laurent mini.
Last year Doja Cat performed. That November 1 dinner raised nearly $6.5 million, a new record for the event, from nearly 600 guests.
The year before, on November 2, 2024, Charli xcx performed and Troye Sivan joined her for a song. That night raised more than $6.4 million.
rosie, her first studio album, came out December 6, 2024, on The Black Label and Atlantic. "APT.," with Bruno Mars, was nominated at the February Grammys for record of the year, song of the year, and best pop duo/group performance. It did not win. The album has passed 10 billion streams.
On September 17 she released a new single, "new trick," through the same labels.
A gold seat is $10,000. Platinum is $15,000. Tables are $75,000 for eight and $125,000 for ten.
The museum sells them by email, at artandfilm@lacma.org. The money is meant to put film closer to the center of LACMA's exhibitions, acquisitions, and education, and to fund the rest of the museum's work. The building is at 5905 Wilshire Boulevard.
Our take: she already sat through this dinner twice, in Saint Laurent, including the year Park Chan-wook was the film honoree. This invitation is to sing. A gold seat is still $10,000.
