The Weeknd set a Tony Leung photo to Faye Wong's Chungking Express song.
The Weeknd is in Hong Kong a week early for four Kai Tak nights. He had dinner with Tony Leung and Carina Lau, then set a photo of the two of them to Faye Wong's Cantonese cover from Chungking Express.

The Weeknd is in Hong Kong this week, ahead of four nights at Kai Tak Stadium. He had dinner with Tony Leung, from Chungking Express and In the Mood for Love, and with actress Carina Lau, Leung's wife.
On the menu card he wrote, "Thank you for an incredible night, your friend the weeknd, to Tony & Carina."
He also posted a still of the two of them talking, with Faye Wong's 夢中人 playing under it.
The song
夢中人 is her Cantonese cover of the Cranberries' "Dreams." It is on her 1994 album Random Thoughts, and Wong Kar-wai used it in Chungking Express, including over the end credits.
Leung plays a cop getting over a flight attendant. Faye Wong, already a pop star, plays the woman at the Midnight Express snack counter who starts letting herself into his apartment.
"California Dreamin'" is the song that counter is famous for. 夢中人 is hers, and it closes the film.
He had dinner with the man from that movie, then posted the song from it.
The nights
After Hours Til Dawn is at Kai Tak on October 24 and 25, then October 30 and 31, all at 8:15 p.m. The Halloween weekend sold out, so the first weekend was added later.
Live Nation still lists October 24 and 25, from HK$808. Standing is 12 and older, and at least 140 centimeters. Seats start at age 3.
These are his first Hong Kong concerts since AsiaWorld-Expo in 2018.
Chungking Express is on HBO Max and the Criterion Channel in the US. Rent it if you have neither. The Faye Wong cover and the Cranberries original are both in the film.
Our take: the thank-you is sweet. The song is the part with a memory in it. He sat with Tony Leung and played the Faye Wong record from the movie they were both in. HBO Max has that film tonight, and the Kai Tak tickets still listed are Saturday and Sunday.
