Last week we left Doctor X: Mafia in White off the Weekend Stream. Netflix had not put it on the list for October 9 through 15.

SBS premiered it that Friday anyway. Episode 2, on Saturday, averaged 14.9% nationwide on Nielsen Korea, up from 11.4% for the premiere.

On Netflix, those same two episodes were enough for No. 1 among non-English series in the week of October 5, with 4.6 million views.

So this weekend, watch the new ones. If you already started 100 Days of Deception, take its Saturday and Sunday pair as well. You will not get to the end of either.

Doctor X, the new episodes

Kim Ji-won, of Queen of Tears, plays Gye Su-jeong, a surgeon hired into Guseo University Hospital. She is there to operate, and she refuses the politics around it.

Lee Jung-eun, of Parasite, plays Jang Hee-sook, the agency boss who sends her in and looks out for her.

The show is a Korean remake of Doctor-X: Surgeon Michiko Daimon, the TV Asahi series that ran for years in Japan. Lee Jeong-rim, who directed Revenant, is directing this one.

SBS airs it Friday and Saturday at 9:50 p.m. KST, which is morning in the US. Netflix has been adding the episodes as they air. Episode 3 was the Friday one, so it should already be in the app. Episode 4 lands Saturday morning.

The posted run is 12 episodes, two a week, through November 14.

Two more of the spy show

If last weekend's 100 Days of Deception is the one you started, episodes 3 and 4 air Saturday, October 17, and Sunday, October 18, at 9:10 p.m. KST on tvN. Same idea on Netflix: they have been showing up as Korea airs them, which is morning in the US.

Kim You-jung, of 20th Century Girl, is the pickpocket who took a 100-day job inside the colonial government in 1932 Gyeongseong, the Seoul of those years.

Park Jin-young, of GOT7, plays Kim Tae-ung, the official's son she is there to watch.

Episode 2 climbed to 7.6% nationwide, from 5.3% on opening night, and led its cable slot, so it is worth another weekend. The season is 16 episodes and ends November 29. This pair is plenty until next Saturday.

If you want a third

Where the Mask Ends opened on Youku on October 16. Tian Xiwei plays A-Chou, a woman who takes a wealthy heiress's place and marries a nobleman who is dying. Netflix has a page for it. Open the app and count the episodes before you clear a night.

Make Me Tingle already has four episodes on Viki. Two more arrive October 22, and the tenth is November 5. Nam Ji-hyun and Kim Jae-young played siblings in 100 Days My Prince. She wants to date seriously. He runs a company that sells adult toys, and he would rather keep it casual.

Our read: start Doctor X if the weekend is open. Stay with 100 Days of Deception if you gave it last Saturday. The October Netflix guide has the rest of the month. Its Doctor X line is still the opening week, when only two episodes were up.
