Aloha Festivals Royal Court Investiture and Opening Ceremony 2026
Aloha Festivals opens Saturday, September 5, 2026 from 4–6 p.m. with the Royal Court Investiture at Helumoa Gardens and the Royal Grove in Waikiki, kicking off the 80th anniversary season.

Aloha Festivals opens Saturday, September 5, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with the Royal Court Investiture and Opening Ceremony at Helumoa Gardens at The Royal Hawaiian Hotel and the Royal Grove at Royal Hawaiian Center in Waikiki. Hula, chant, and pageantry introduce the Royal Court under the 2026 theme "80 Years of Aloha."
Admission is free. Same weekend, the 44th Okinawan Festival is at the Hawaii Convention Center if you want a full Saturday culture stack.
Later September still carries Waikiki Hoʻolauleʻa on the 19th and the Floral Parade on the 26th.
