Pao Arts Center's Experience Chinatown returns for 2026 with murals on view Saturday, August 29 through Sunday, October 18, and a main day of live performances, activities, and exhibits on Saturday, September 26 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Chin Park on the Greenway. The 2026 theme is abundance, woven through window murals painted with neighborhood businesses and the center's fall exhibit Tracing Our Footprints / Carving Chinatown's Future at 99 Albany Street.
Pao Arts Center is Boston Chinatown's contemporary Asian American arts hub, run by the Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center. Experience Chinatown is its flagship fall series: free, neighborhood-scaled, and built around local AAPI artists rather than imported headliners. Murals scatter across Chinatown storefronts; the September 26 festival day concentrates performances and activities at Chin Park beside the gate.
