Free admission

Happy Night Market’s Anime Edition is Friday through Sunday, November 13–15, 2026, at TAWA Gateway, 140 West Valley Boulevard, San Gabriel. The organizer’s Eventbrite page is the primary listing. Admission is free. Parking is posted as free.
Posted hours on the listing and matching copies are Friday 6:00 to 11:00 p.m., Saturday 4:00 to 11:00 p.m., and Sunday 4:00 to 10:00 p.m. Confirm those clocks on Eventbrite the week of. The page’s own highlight line also says a five-hour visit, which does not match a full Saturday. Use the daily windows.
This is a different building from August’s Happy Night Market at STC Rowland Legacy. That weekend was Colima Road, 5 to 11 p.m., and it is over. November is Valley Boulevard, anime-themed, still all ages. Do not reuse the Rowland Heights lot in your maps pin.
TAWA Gateway sits on the San Gabriel Valley Blvd commercial strip, the same corridor people already use for Taiwanese and Chinese dinner. The Eventbrite copy promises food, art, collectibles, live music, and giveaways. Treat that as the shape of a plaza market, not a locked vendor list. happynightmarket.com did not resolve cleanly in this pass. Trust the Eventbrite card for hours and the address until a fuller site posts.
San Gabriel’s Dumpling & Beer Fest is earlier, Friday, October 2, in the Historic Mission District. That is the city’s dumpling night. This November weekend is the independent night-market brand on Valley. OC Japan Fair in mid-October is the ticketed Japanese fairgrounds weekend if you want a bigger Japanese floor before this anime plaza date.
Metro A Line to San Gabriel or a Valley Blvd bus is possible. Most people drive. The lot is on site if the free-parking line holds. Valley Blvd is slow on Saturday night. Come at 4 on Saturday if you want a table before the denser evening crush. Sunday is the earlier close. Friday is the shortest window if you only want a first look.
Bring cash and a card. Plaza markets can flip either way at the stalls. If you are coming for collectibles, Saturday afternoon is the calmer browse before the night crowd. Cosplay is welcome on the Anime Edition branding; treat that as the vibe, not a locked contest hour until the organizer posts one.
Our take: this is the easy post-Diwali SGV wander if you already like plaza markets. It is not 626. 626’s only remaining 2026 date is Pleasanton. If you did Rowland Heights in August, you know the brand. Check the pin before you leave Colima.
When: November 13–15, 2026; Fri 6–11 p.m., Sat 4–11 p.m., Sun 4–10 p.m. (confirm on Eventbrite)
Where: TAWA Gateway, 140 W Valley Blvd, San Gabriel, CA 91776
