Higashi Honganji Buddhist Temple Obon is Saturday–Sunday, July 25–26, 2026, 1:00–9:00 p.m., at 505 E. Third St in Little Tokyo. Per Rafu Shimpo, programming includes food, games, bingo, a farmers market, taiko, music (including happyfunsmile), Obon/Hatsubon service Sunday at 11:00 a.m., Manto-E services at 5:30 p.m. both days, and Bon Odori at 6:30 p.m. both nights.
