JAPAN Fes returns to the East Village August 29–30, 2026, 10 a.m.–6 p.m. both days: Saturday on Broadway between 8th and 9th, Sunday on 4th Avenue between 9th and 10th.

JAPAN Fes lists two East Village days for late August 2026, both 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, August 29 is on Broadway between 8th and 9th Streets. Sunday, August 30 moves to 4th Avenue between 9th and 10th Streets. Admission is free; food is pay-as-you-go.
The vendor mix is the usual roaming board: kakigori, taiyaki, karaage, takoyaki, matcha, onigiri, yakisoba, ramen, and rotating dessert stalls. Blocks can still shift, so treat the official map as day-of truth.
The 6 at Astor Place or the R/W at 8th Street covers both setups. If you missed New Rochelle on August 15, this is the next official NYC weekend on the 2026 calendar. September dates have circulated in older roundups; they are not on the organizer’s 2026 list yet.
