Taiwanese Heritage Night 2026 at Snapdragon Stadium
TAP San Diego and San Diego FC present Taiwanese Heritage Night on Saturday, October 24, 2026, 7:30 p.m. kick at Snapdragon Stadium versus Seattle Sounders FC. The TAP package is $48 for a match seat and an SDFC Taiwanese Heritage scarf. Fan Fest with Taiwanese programming starts at 4:30 p.m.
Tickets from $48

Taiwanese Heritage Night is Saturday, October 24, 2026, with a 7:30 p.m. kick at Snapdragon Stadium, 2101 Stadium Way, in Mission Valley. TAP San Diego, Taiwanese American Professionals, and San Diego FC present it. The opponent on the TAP page and on SDFC’s own schedule is Seattle Sounders FC. You need a match ticket. The TAP RSVP is only a headcount for the chapter. It is not a seat.
The TAP flyer locks the package at $48 for a match ticket and an SDFC-branded Taiwanese Heritage scarf. Buy on the Ticketmaster quick-buy link from tap-sd.org. Kickoff can still move; check San Diego FC the week of. The same flyer posts a Fan Fest at 4:30 p.m. with Taiwanese Heritage programming before the match, so the cultural piece starts on the plaza, not only at whistle.
The stadium’s own promo calendar also calls October 24 Fan Appreciation Night, presented by Qualcomm, versus the same Sounders side. TAP still sells the night as Heritage Night with the scarf. Both can be true on one Saturday. Buy the package if the scarf and the Fan Fest window are why you are going. A regular seat still gets you into the building for the match.
Sunday, October 25, is Kiku Matsuri at Hangar 858 in Kearny Mesa, 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. That is the Japanese cultural fair the next day, not a same-night stack. You can do Saturday soccer and Sunday matsuri if your legs hold. You cannot treat TAP night as a substitute for the hangar.
We already filed Sounders Filipino Heritage Night for October 17 in Seattle. A week later the same club is the visitor in Mission Valley. The product is the same lane: a league match with a community partner, a scarf or a recognition window, and a ticket you buy from the club, not a park mela. SDFC itself is still early in the MLS story, a 2025 Western Conference top finisher in its first season, which is why a heritage partnership still feels like a new club finding its neighbors.
Snapdragon sits off Friars Road. Match-night parking is a stadium lot or a rideshare. The trolley can work depending on Stadium / SDSU operations that evening. Give yourself the usual soccer buffer, especially if you want the 4:30 Fan Fest. TAP’s chapter mail is info@tap-sd.org. The office address on the event page, 7838 Wilkerson Court, is not the gate.
Oishii was three weeks earlier at the Japanese Friendship Garden. That is a noon-to-5 tasting. This is a 7:30 p.m. kick with a late-afternoon Fan Fest. Different Saturday, different ticket.
Our take: buy the TAP package if you already go to SDFC and want the scarf plus the 4:30 heritage window. Skip if you wanted a stage and a food-court mela. For a cultural fair that weekend, Kiku is Sunday.
When: October 24, 2026, 7:30 p.m. kick (Fan Fest 4:30; confirm kickoff)
