Uttoron’s Deepaboli is Sunday, November 8, 2026, from 2:15 to 8:15 p.m. at Pickering Barn in Issaquah. The holiday falls on that Sunday this year. The event page still says details are coming soon.

Deepaboli is the Bengali name for the festival of lights. Uttoron has not posted a 2026 program, a food list, or a ticket price. Some calendars call the night Kali Puja. The official title is Deepaboli. Wait for the org page before you plan around a specific ritual.

You cannot walk in. Uttoron’s events FAQ says every gathering needs a pre-registration, even when members pay no door fee. Members who skip the RSVP are not guaranteed a seat. Non-members who have not bought an entry ticket ahead will be turned away. Food is a separate coupon. Refunds need a request 14 days before the day, sent to uttoron@uttoron.org. The group says it tries to post parking and schedule notes about 30 days out.

Pickering Barn is a City of Issaquah venue at 1730 10th Avenue NW, Issaquah 98027. The restored farm buildings sit just off I-90, Exit 15, across from the Issaquah Costco. The city lists about 12,000 square feet and room for up to 350 guests. It is also the home of the Issaquah Farmers Market. The farm is on the National Register. You are in a city rental with hay-barn bones, not a mandir. Uttoron uses the barn again on Sunday, December 20, for its year-end night. Same building, different holiday. If you have never been, the lot is on 10th, across from warehouse retail. Leave extra time for the I-90 exit on a Sunday evening.

Festál’s Diwali: Lights of India is the Saturday before, November 7, free at the Seattle Center Armory from noon. That is the walk-up public day. This Sunday is the membership room. WAIA’s Diwali Mela is earlier, October 24, 3 to 9 p.m. at North Creek High School in Bothell, free with a Jotform RSVP. Uttoron’s Sharodotsav in October is Durga Puja at Hangar 30, not Diwali.

Bhindeshi lists a Shyama Utsav, their Kali Puja, on Saturday, November 7, from 2:00 p.m. at Shoreline Community College, 16101 Greenwood Avenue N. That is a different org and a different building. Confirm on bhindeshi.org if Kali is the night you want.

Issaquah is an Eastside drive. I-90 to 17th Avenue, then 10th Avenue NW. Parking is in the barn lot. There is no Link station at Costco. uttoron@uttoron.org is the contact.

Our take: register if you already sit with Uttoron and want the actual holiday. If you only have one Diwali day in you, do Festál on Saturday and skip the barn. The Armory does not ask you to join first.

When: November 8, 2026, 2:15–8:15 p.m.
Where: Pickering Barn, 1730 10th Ave NW, Issaquah, WA 98027
