VACAT Mid-Autumn Festival and Night Market 2026 in Austin
VACAT’s Mid-Autumn Festival and Night Market runs Saturday, September 26, 2026 from 3–9 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic School with free admission, lantern energy, and Vietnamese food vendors.
Free admission

The Vietnamese American Community of Austin Texas hosts its 2026 Mid-Autumn Festival and Night Market on Saturday, September 26 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic School, 9400 Neenah Avenue. Admission is free. VACAT cancelled its 2026 Tet Festival earlier this year and pointed the community toward this September date instead, which raises the stakes for anyone who usually saves their big VACAT outing for January.
Organizer promotions list lion and dragon dances, a lantern parade, cultural and modern dance, an áo dài fashion show, Vietnamese and Asian food, arts and crafts, games, trivia, face painting, and live music. VACAT has not published a stage order, parking map, or vendor payment policy, so check for a final-week update.
This is far-north Austin near the Round Rock and Cedar Park line, not a downtown night market. If you also want the indoor Chinese culture day, the Austin Chinese Culture Festival runs noon to 7:00 p.m. the same Saturday at the AISD Performing Arts Center, which makes an early PAC stop and a late Neenah Avenue finish a real doubleheader.
Our take: go for the lantern-and-food evening if Vietnamese Austin is your Mid-Autumn lane. The official VACAT page and current event poster both list the Neenah Avenue address, but a last-week check still makes sense for an outdoor festival.
When: September 26, 2026 (3:00–9:00 p.m.)
Where: Holy Family Catholic School, 9400 Neenah Avenue, Austin, TX
