Jeon So-yeon won Show! Music Core on October 10 with I'm gonna TOESA, 6,670 points to BOYNEXTDOOR's 4,667. It is the song's third music-show win.

Jeon So-yeon won MBC's Show! Music Core on October 10 with I'm gonna TOESA. She is the leader and producer of i-dle, the group long styled (G)I-DLE.
She finished with 6,670 points. BOYNEXTDOOR's ANIMAL was second at 4,667. IU's 이 별로부터 was third at 3,197.
She trailed in the other three categories. The live vote was 1,000 to 139. The pre-vote and the broadcast score went to BOYNEXTDOOR too.
Digital and album points made the difference: 5,005 to 1,822. That is what turned the totals.
It is the third trophy for the track, after M Countdown on October 1 and Inkigayo on October 4. The scheduled broadcast run had already wrapped. Saturday's win came after it.
Circle Chart had the song at No. 1 on the digital chart for the weeks of September 20 and September 27. Those same weeks it also led streaming, ringtones, and video ringtones.
The Korean title is 퇴사할게여, a playful spelling of "I'm going to quit." TOESA is that word in the English title. Kian84, the webtoon artist and TV host, narrates it. She asked him because, she said, he lives the most romantically of anyone she knows.
She wrote the lyrics. The composition is shared, on a band track about quitting a job. A stable future matters, she said, but she wanted this moment to feel happy instead of being spent on the next worry.
It is the title track of 끝내주는 인생 (What a Wonderful Life). She has a writing credit on all eight songs.
Cube Entertainment released the album on September 7. It is her first full-length solo record.
Her solo debut, Jelly, was in 2017. The EP Windy was July 2021.
Our read: BOYNEXTDOOR won the live vote. Soyeon won the show, because a month later people are still playing a song about quitting.
