Abahan Bay Area Durga Puja 2026 at ICC Milpitas

Abahan Bay Area’s first Durga Puja is Saturday and Sunday, October 10–11, 2026, at the India Community Center in Milpitas. The homepage on abahanbayarea.org is the lock. ICC’s street address is 525 Los Coches Street, the same pin Abahan’s Zeffy donation page uses.

Hours are not posted on the homepage. A walk-up door price is not posted either. Do not treat a Zeffy donation-window timestamp as Saturday gate time until Abahan prints hours in plain language.

The group is new. The page says founding year 2026 and first puja. The pitch is “New Pujo · Same Emotion,” which is honest about the order of things: dhak and adda first, institutional memory later. You are helping a first rental find its feet, not walking into a fifty-year fairgrounds machine.

Food partners already named are The Char House, Snehlata Misti Bari, and ChaiAum. Merch names include Looms of Heritage, Taha Collection, Jumbora, and Hasadha Couture. That is the marketplace shape. Do not invent a stage card. Sponsors already on the page range from local real-estate names to Maitri and AT&T. Useful if you care who underwrote a first year. Useless if you only want a setlist.

Saptami through Dashami are listed as the ritual frame under Festival Highlights. The tabs are there. Timed slots are not. Saturday–Sunday is a two-day window, not a four-day live-in. Plan around the weekend, then refresh the site the week of.

That is optional dana. Vendor and volunteer signups on the site show closed as of late September. If you still want a decor, parking, bhog, stage, or cleanup shift, write the org directly.

ICC Milpitas is the India Community Center’s South Bay hall on Los Coches, a building people already use for classes, Holi, and rented weekends. This puja is a rental, not ICC’s own festival. Parking is the ICC lot and the street. The 880 or 237 is the usual approach. Fremont and San Jose spillover is normal on a first-year Saturday. Milpitas is the Great Mall and Los Coches corridor, not Cupertino’s ICC campus and not the sports center on North Milpitas Boulevard. Check the pin.

The same weekend, 626 Night Market is 3:00 to 11:00 p.m. Friday through Sunday at the Alameda County Fairgrounds. You can try ICC in the afternoon and Pleasanton at night if you want both and you can stand I-680. Most people should pick. Prabasi and Agomoni are the following weekend, the bigger established pujas.

Our take: go if you want to help a first puja find its feet, or you already live in Milpitas. Confirm hours before Saturday morning. If you want a long-running fairgrounds puja with named concerts, wait a week for Prabasi.
