Anime Night Mart 2026 at South Bay Galleria in Redondo Beach

Anime Night Mart is Saturday and Sunday, October 24–25, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at South Bay Galleria, 1815 Hawthorne Boulevard, Unit 201, Redondo Beach. The official site and flyer both call it free and all ages.

This is the organizer’s first Galleria weekend, billed as a new venue. Think mall market, not downtown Comic Con. The flyer lists vendors, music, food, raffles, K-pop, a scavenger hunt, and a cosplay contest. Eventbrite copy adds a free photobooth, a live DJ, and a fashion-show style cosplay contest with cash prizes, with voice actors still TBA. Treat that as the shape of the weekend, not a locked hour card. Follow the site the week of if a stage order posts.

Free Eventbrite RSVP is optional. The organizer says grabbing a free ticket and scanning it at the info booth enters you for raffle and prize chances. You can still walk in without a reservation. Plenty of free mall parking is the posted line.

Do not confuse it with Anime Night Mart’s October 3 Night City Rave at The Compound in Commerce. That night is 18+, 8:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., ticketed with Shonen Riot. This Galleria weekend is the public daytime one.

Happy Night Market’s Anime Edition is later, November 13–15, on Valley Boulevard. OC Japan Fair is already over by this weekend. L.A. Comic Con is October 30 through November 1 downtown. If you want a free South Bay Saturday, this is it. If you want the big floor, wait a week for the convention center.

The same Saturday is Ektaa Diwali Fest at Great Park Live. Pick by county. Redondo is the mall. Irvine is the Diwali stage.

Dakshini’s Durgotsav is the weekend before, October 16–18, at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center. That is a Bengali hall, a short South Bay hop from the Galleria. Different weekend, different ticket.

Hawthorne Boulevard at the Galleria is a car trip. Mall parking is the lot. The 405 to 190th or Artesia is the usual approach. Unit 201 is inside the mall. Look at the directory when you park. South Bay Galleria is a regular shopping center, not a convention hall. Expect mall hours around the market, not a late-night rave. The Compound night on October 3 is the late one. This weekend closes at 7.

Our take: go if you already like anime markets and you live south of the 10. Two hours is enough for a first pass. Save Comic Con for the next weekend if you want panels and a badge line.
