Dakshini Durgotsav 2026 at Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center
Dakshini Bengali Association of California holds Durgotsav 2026 Friday through Sunday, October 16–18, at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center. Non-member puja entry is free; food coupons are on Vibrnz. Daily hours are not posted.

Dakshini’s Durgotsav is Friday through Sunday, October 16–18, 2026, at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center, 1935 Manhattan Beach Boulevard. Vibrnz, the food-coupon portal, lists that venue name. A Dakshini Mailchimp invite also says Aviation Gymnasium at the same boulevard address. Use the address, then confirm the hall door when you register.
Non-member puja entry is free on Vibrnz. Meals are separate. Adult dinner and lunch coupons are posted at $20; kids meals at $15, with veg and non-veg options by day. Collect digital coupons at the registration desk. Sales are final.
Members still go through Dakshini’s own membership and session links. Do not copy a concert clock as the puja window. Seat reservations for Ankita Bhattacharyya on October 31 are a different Dakshini night. That is not this weekend.
A Dakshini invite sketches the weekend shape without locking clock times: Friday Bodhon and Maha Shashthi with dinner and Mahalakshmi Iyer live (with Sourav Das), Saturday Mahashtami with Ms. Jojo in concert, Sunday Mahanabami, Bijoya Doshomi, and Sindur Khela. Treat that as the program menu. Daily open and close hours are not posted on the homepage.
Flag: a 2025 Durgotsav schedule board still circulates in last year’s gallery, with Friday Bodhon at 5:30 p.m. and other timed blocks for October 10–12, 2025. That is leftover 2025. Do not treat it as locked 2026.
Dakshini formed in August 1985 in Torrance and has been a 501(c)(3) since 1986. The About page now says more than 1,500 individuals are involved. The mailing address is P.O. Box 14385, Torrance 90503. Communications go to communications@dakshini.org. EIN 33-0313523.
The hall is a city performing-arts box, not a mandir. You are there for the community room: ritual, food, and the cultural card. AACE, the Academy of Arts and Cultural Exchange, is the youth arts arm. JOY and Milestone are the senior and youth programs. None of that replaces a posted Friday start time.
Aikotaan is the weekend before in Tustin, with prices on the homepage. Valley Bengali Community is the same October 16–18 weekend at Canoga Park High School. OC Japan Fair is also that weekend in Costa Mesa. If you are in the South Bay and want puja, this is the closer hall. If you want a walk-up Japanese fair, Costa Mesa is the other Saturday.
Manhattan Beach Boulevard is a car trip. The 405 to Inglewood Avenue is the usual approach. Theater lots fill when a rental is on. There is no useful rail stop at the door. Buy food on Vibrnz before you drive.
Our take: this is the South Bay puja for people already in the Dakshini orbit, and a free-entry guest weekend if you only need the room and will buy meals. Register food early. Do not pair it with Japan Fair the same afternoon.
