Aikotaan Durga Puja 2026 at Chinmaya Mission in Tustin
Aikotaan holds Durga Puja Friday through Sunday, October 9–11, 2026, at Chinmaya Mission, 14451 Franklin Avenue, Tustin. Day packages and a three-day pass are posted. Chandrabindoo plays Saturday night.
Ticketed event

Aikotaan’s Durga Puja is Friday through Sunday, October 9–11, 2026, at Chinmaya Mission Los Angeles, 14451 Franklin Avenue, Tustin. The official page is aikotaan.org. This is a ticketed community puja, not a walk-up city festival. Buy before you assume a seat.
Posted day packages include Friday evening Bodhon, cultural block, and dinner at adults $30, seniors and students $25, kids 5–13 $15. Sunday lunch with sindoor khela and mishti mukh is listed at the same adult $30 tier. A three-day all-access pass is $100 for adults, $80 for seniors and students, $50 for kids. Two-day passes for Oct 9–10 or Oct 10–11 are $80 / $65 / $45. Saturday lunch and dinner cards on the homepage list lunch at the $30 adult line and dinner at $25 adult, with a combined Saturday meal card around $55. An older table on the same page still shows a $60 adult full-Saturday figure. Buy the named day you can attend, and confirm the cart before you pay.
Saturday, October 10, Aikotaan is also bringing Chandrabindoo, the Bengali band, with gates at 6:30 p.m. Concert tickets start at $50 through the org’s ticketing flow. That night’s dinner pickup is posted at Natraj’s Tandoori in The Marketplace, 13246 Jamboree Road in Irvine, 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. The concert is at the mission. The dinner is not. Plan the hop if you booked both.
Aikotaan SoCal Association is a 501(c)(3), EIN 93-4688271. The mailing suite is in Rancho Santa Margarita. Sujata Adhikari is the posted president contact at (949) 344-0983. The org email is info@aikotaan.org. This year’s decoration theme on the page is “Soul of Rural India,” with Warli work and kids-club crafts. The org also runs a Kids Club, a Nalanda heritage platform, and year-round sports and service partnerships. Puja weekend is the public peak.
The week after, Dakshini is October 16–18 at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center, and Valley Bengali Community is the same weekend at Canoga Park High School. If you can only do one puja, pick by county: Tustin first, then the South Bay or the Valley. Ektaa Diwali Fest is later, October 24, and is Diwali, not Durga Puja. Artesia’s street fair is the free Pioneer night the Saturday before if you want a walkable warm-up.
Franklin Avenue is a Tustin residential edge, not a mall. Parking is the mission lot. The 5 to Red Hill or Newport is the usual drive. There is no useful Metrolink stop at the door. Confirm Saturday’s dinner address before you leave the mission if Chandrabindoo is your night.
Our take: register now if you already sit with Aikotaan. If you are new, buy one day, not three, and decide on Chandrabindoo as a separate ticket. Do not assume you can wander in for anjali.
When: October 9–11, 2026 (see aikotaan.org for day packages)
