BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Chino Hills holds its Diwali festival Saturday, November 7, through Monday, November 9, 2026, at 15100 Fairfield Ranch Road. The page says everyone is welcome. It does not list a ticket price.

Saturday runs noon to 9:00 p.m. Sunday’s community festival is 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. If the puja is the reason you are going, Sunday morning is the hour. Sharda Pujan, which the mandir also calls Chopda Pujan, is 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. in front of the mandir, and mahaprasad follows. The page says the ritual honors Saraswati. Chopda Pujan is the blessing of the account books, and it finishes before the afternoon festival begins.

Monday, November 9, is Annakut and Gujarati New Year. Darshan is 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. Annakut is a spread of vegetarian dishes offered at the shrine. Saturday’s fair and Monday’s darshan are two different afternoons.

After dark, the show is called Journey of Inspiration. Each one opens with a maha aarti, then lights and music. Shows start at 6:30 and continue every half hour. Saturday’s last show is 9:30, and the campus stops new entry at 9:00, so that final show means you are already inside. On Sunday and Monday, last entry is 8:00.

Friday, November 6, is Dhanteras on their calendar, and they say that observance stays at home. The puja window they posted is 4:55 to 7:36 p.m. The campus opens Saturday.

Irvine held Ektaa Diwali Fest at Great Park Live on October 24. That was the city day. Chino Hills is the holiday weekend, on a campus between Los Angeles and Orange County. L.A. Comic Con is the weekend before, at the convention center. The Happy Night Market in San Gabriel is November 13.

One flyer is still making the rounds for a Pioneer Boulevard street mela in Artesia on November 10, from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Those hours come from a City of Artesia notice in 2013, when November 10 fell on a Sunday. This year’s city calendar lists the International Street Fair on October 3 and a Halloween trunk-or-treat on October 31. It does not list a November street closure. If that text is what landed in the group chat, look at the city page before anyone drives to Little India.

Our take: Saturday if you want the long afternoon and the last show. Sunday at 9:00 if the books are coming with you, then stay for the festival. Monday afternoon if Annakut is the visit you actually wanted. The phone on the page is (909) 614-5000.

When: November 7–9, 2026 (Saturday noon–9:00 p.m.; Sunday puja 9:00–11:00 a.m., festival 1:00–8:00 p.m.; Monday darshan 1:00–8:00 p.m.; no ticket price listed)
Where: BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, 15100 Fairfield Ranch Road, Chino Hills, CA 91709
