BAPS Houston marks Janmashtami on Saturday, September 5, 2026 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Stafford mandir, 1150 Brand Lane. Krishna's birthday. Prayers, cultural performances, and the evening sabha.
Two hours. You can make dinner after. Dress modestly, cover shoulders and knees, and leave shoes at the door. Parking is on the mandir campus off Brand Lane, south of the Beltway in Stafford. Give yourself a few extra minutes off 59. Saturday traffic into Fort Bend is its own line.
The Houston mandir also lists its 22nd Patotsav, the anniversary, on August 22 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Same building, same window. If you have never been, either evening is a clean first visit. Check the BAPS Houston page that week for any registration note, and keep phones down once you are inside.
Viet Cultural Fest is the next Saturday at NRG if you want a louder weekend after the mandir.
