Viet Cultural Fest returns Saturday, September 12, 2026, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., at NRG Center. Vietnamese Culture and Science Association hosts the one-day indoor festival and calls it the largest Vietnamese festival in Texas.
The 2026 theme is Phù Đổng Thiên Vương, the Saint Gióng story, as VCSA marks 35 years. On the floor that means performances, folk games, food booths, cultural exhibits, health screenings, and Vietnamese-owned business tables. It is indoors, which matters in a Houston September.
General admission is $15. Seniors 65+ and groups of 10 or more are $12. Kids under 4 get in free. NRG parking is extra. METRORail's Stadium Park / Astrodome stop skips the garage. Give yourself time at the door. One-day festivals at NRG get a line right after lunch.
This is Houston's Vietnamese Saturday, still run by a community group. Japan Festival Houston at Miller Outdoor Theatre is Sunday if you want a two-day weekend.
When: September 12, 2026, 10 a.m.–7 p.m.
Where: NRG Center, 1 NRG Park, Houston, TX 77054
