Diwali RazzMatazz 2026 at Mississauga Celebration Square

Indo-Canada Arts Council presents Canada Diwali RazzMatazz Friday through Sunday, October 9–11, 2026, at Mississauga Celebration Square, 300 City Centre Drive. Admission is free.

The City of Mississauga calendar is the clock to use: Friday 5:00 to 11:00 p.m., Saturday noon to 11:00 p.m., Sunday noon to 9:00 p.m. Visit Mississauga still compresses the listing to Saturday and Sunday noon to 9:00 p.m. and starts the schema window on October 10. The city page dates the square run to 2014 and quotes more than 50,000 attendees and 500 artists in a typical year. Those are organizer-scale claims, not a ticket scan. What you will feel is a concert plaza: live sets, DJs, fashion, and food under the big screen beside Square One.

Celebration Square sits next to Square One and the City Centre transit hub, which makes it an easy stack with a Mississauga mall dinner before evening sets. The square is open sky. October evenings cool fast after sunset, so bring a layer if you stay for DJs.

Who this is for: Peel Region South Asian families who want a public-plaza Diwali party, and visitors who prefer Mississauga's square to downtown City Hall crowds. Skip it if you need a quiet temple observance. This is a festival-stage production.

Indo Canada Arts Council runs RazzMatazz as a free gateway to Diwali season in Peel, where Brampton and Mississauga temples host separate puja calendars through November. The square event is the concert-and-DJ version: fashion walks, bhangra or Bollywood sets, and food trucks under open sky. The city listing also notes youth and children sharing the stage with visiting artists.

MiWay and GO connections to City Centre make the square reachable from Toronto without a car. Arrive before 4 p.m. Saturday if you want food before sunset performances. The square allows re-entry during event hours if you step out for dinner on Burnhamthorpe or Square One.

Our take: Friday night if you want the opener before the weekend crush. Saturday afternoon for families, Saturday night for the later close. Sunday is the shorter clock if Saturday rains out.
