Friends of India Las Vegas hosts Independence Day on Sunday, August 16, 2026, 3:30 to 6 p.m., at the Clark County Library Performing Arts Theatre, 1401 E Flamingo Road. Dance competition, music, and dinner. Two and a half hours in a seated room. You will be home for the evening.
Kids 5 to 16 are $5. Members are $10. Non-members are $15. A $100 sponsor ticket seats two at a VIP table. Buy on foilv.com before you go. Annual family membership is $40 if you come to more than one FOILV night.
Library parking on Flamingo is the lot, a few minutes east of the Strip. Dress for a community show. Doors are 3:30. Grab an aisle seat if you have kids. Dinner is part of the ticket, so you do not need a restaurant plan after.
Saturday is Las Vegas Buddhist Sangha Obon if you want the temple weekend first.
