Håfa Adai Festival 2026 at Balboa Park

House of Chamorros lists the 2026 Håfa Adai Festival for Saturday, August 22 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the International Lawn Stage (2191 Pan American Road West) in Balboa Park. Admission is open to the community and free.

"Håfa adai" is the CHamoru greeting you will hear across Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands; House of Chamorros uses the festival name as an open invitation to Pacific Islander culture in San Diego. Expect CHamoru dance and music, island food, crafts and cultural displays, family activities, and a raffle supporting the House of Chamorros cottage nonprofit. The house promotes Marianas heritage from its Balboa Park cottage, part of the same HPR row as House of the Philippines and House of Korea.

August 22 is one of the densest Asian and Pacific culture Saturdays on the San Diego calendar. The same day carries SAMAFEST on Presidents Way Lawn, TAP-SD's Taiwan Festival at Liberty Station, and Natsu Nights at the Japanese Friendship Garden.
