Cal Expo hosts Pakistani Independence Day and Family Festival on Saturday, August 15, 2026, 4 to 11 p.m., at Lot X and The Cove, 1600 Exposition Boulevard. Admission is free. Parking is $10. Pakistani Community Members of Sacramento put it on.

The draw is Ali Zafar, the Pakistani pop singer, plus food trucks, merchandise, kids' games, and raffles. Come for dinner and stay for the set.

It is a fairgrounds lot, so wear shoes you can stand in and expect a long walk from the garage. Lot X and The Cove sit on the west side of campus. Follow the Cal Expo event signs.

Pakistan's 79th Independence Day is the reason for the night. Folsom's IAS Mega India Day is the daytime India stop the same Saturday if you want both.

Light rail to Expo / Cal Expo beats circling the lots after 6. Bring a little cash for the trucks.
