Tokyo X takes NRG Center Halls D and E on Saturday and Sunday, September 26–27, 2026. Saturday runs 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday is 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. VIP badges get in at 10.

This is Houston's large indoor Japan weekend: food, anime and cosplay, JDM cars, dance, and a concert block. Organizers advertise more than 600 vendors, so treat the number as a crowd warning as much as a shopping promise. Sunday admission includes CODA, the singer behind JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure themes “BLOODY STREAM” and “Fighting Gold”; VIP is the route to front-row seating.

Buy a ticket before you go. NRG parking is extra, and the garage line on Saturday is its own event.

METRORail to Stadium Park / Astrodome beats sitting on Fannin. Come in cosplay if you want. Come in sneakers either way. The halls are long, and Sunday's earlier close means you should not arrive at 6 and expect a full day.

Japan Festival Houston at Miller is already done by then. Tokyo X is the air-conditioned follow-up. Viet Cultural Fest is earlier in the month if you are stacking NRG Saturdays.

When: September 26–27, 2026 (Sat 11 a.m.–9 p.m., Sun 11 a.m.–8 p.m.)
Where: NRG Center, 1 NRG Park, Houston, TX 77054
