Free admission

UNDISCOVERED SF is listing Golden Hour Night Market for Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 4:00 to 10:00 p.m. on Ritch Street Alley, in the SoMa Pilipinas Filipino Cultural Heritage District.
The homepage calls this a tenth-season anniversary run: three events, made WITH Mahal. Golden Hour is HUB II on that card, the public night market.
The other two dates are an entrepreneur summit on September 29 at Brave New Spaces, 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., and a Mahal mural unveiling on November 13, 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., on Jessie West Alley. The summit is a weekday program. The mural is an hour. October 24 is the alley market most readers mean when they say UNDSCVRD this fall.
The homepage now points to a free ticket for Golden Hour. Grab that RSVP rather than inventing a door charge or assuming walk-up is automatic. Vendor and nonprofit tabling sit on separate 2026 participate links if you are selling, not browsing.
Bring a layer. Ritch Street is an alley, not a park lawn, and October nights cool off after 8. The light at 4 p.m. is the golden-hour joke in the title. Stay later if the crush and the music are the point.
UNDSCVRD grew out of Kultivate Labs' Creative Night Market work in SoMa Pilipinas. The corridor is the city's Filipino cultural heritage district, south of Market and west of the Embarcadero ballpark edge. That is the planning frame: alley vendors, community orgs, and a decade of return visitors who already treat Ritch as a map pin.
This Saturday is stacked. FOG Diwali Mela is 10 to 7 in Fremont. Walnut Creek's street fair is noon to 5 at the Lesher Center. San Jose Diwali Carnival is downtown the same day. UNDSCVRD is the city night if you want Filipino SoMa instead of a Diwali mela.
Bhangra Beats is later, November 13, a different night-market product. Do not mix the two, even though the mural unveiling also lands November 13 on Jessie West.
Ritch sits off Brannan, south of the ballpark. The nearest Muni is on Third or Folsom. Parking is SoMa parking. Walk if you can. Filipino American History Month is the calendar mood, not a ticket surcharge.
Who this is for: SoMa and Mission households who already treat Ritch Street as the Filipino corridor, and anyone who missed summer's bigger street fests and still wants an alley market in October. Skip it if you need a civic Diwali stage. Fremont and San Jose have those that afternoon.
Our take: 4 p.m. if you want light on the stalls. Stay past 8 if the alley is the point. Grab the free ticket on undiscoveredsf.com before you promise a walk-up. Do not stack Fremont and this unless you leave Washington High before dinner.
