VYO Boston’s Shrinathji Haveli in Lowell lists Diwali on Sunday, November 8, 2026, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. The haveli is at 664 Lakeview Avenue. Parking is a separate lot at 740 Aiken Street. The calendar prints both “Roop Chaturdashi / Diwali” and “Diwali Celebration” in that same two-hour window. No ticket price is listed.
The haveli’s welcome says this is Krishna in the form of Shrinathji, in the Pushtimarg, the Path of Grace taught by Vallabhacharya. VYO’s U.S. page calls Lowell its first haveli, opened in 2012, for Vaishnav families around Boston. The Museum of Fine Arts held its Diwali day on November 1, on a regular admission ticket. Loy Krathong in Harvard Square is Saturday, November 7, a Thai night market in Cambridge. Sunday in Lowell is the haveli.
Saturday’s haveli listing is Dhanteras, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., one hour. That start sits inside the Harvard Square market. You would have to leave Cambridge early to make 6:30 in Lowell. Tuesday, November 10, is marked Nutan Varsh, the new year, with morning, midday, and evening darshan. The morning line is printed as a span from 7:00 a.m. into the evening, while the other windows that day are short. Read it again before you leave the house for a half-hour slot. Annakut is the Sunday after, November 15, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. That is the long gathering. November 8 is the dusk visit.
Lowell is a drive from downtown Boston. The Aiken Street lot and the Lakeview door are different pins. If you are dropping someone at 664, the driver still has to find 740 Aiken Street.
The museum afternoon and this Sunday are a week apart. A family can do the MFA and still keep the holiday at the haveli.
