626 Night Market returns across California this summer

The 626 Night Market organization says the market returns summer 2026 in Southern and Northern California, with stops at Santa Anita Park and the Alameda County Fairgrounds.

626 Night Market is back for summer 2026, stretching from June through October across Southern and Northern California. The organizer lists three weekend stops: Santa Anita Park in Arcadia for two SoCal runs, and the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton for a NorCal edition.

Local Asian vendors are part of the mix at each location, giving the season a familiar rhythm for anyone who plans around these markets every year.

The market traces its origins to the San Gabriel Valley in 2012 and has grown into one of the larger night-market traditions on the West Coast. The organizer bills it as the original Asian night market, a claim that fits the scale and staying power of the event.

For diaspora audiences, that history matters. This is not a one-off pop-up but a recurring gathering that has shaped how California experiences outdoor Asian food and retail culture.

When you are not standing in a food line, the same crowd is usually debating what to stream: our July K-drama premiere list is the shortcut for Netflix and Disney+ drops this month, and Korean luxury brand ambassadors tracks which stars landed fashion deals in 2026.

What you get is the full night-market atmosphere: food stalls, shopping, and the crowded outdoor energy that feels more like a community ritual than a standard food festival. Come hungry, wear comfortable shoes, and expect lines at popular vendors.

The fairground and racetrack settings mean plenty of open space, but peak hours still feel lively and packed.

The confirmed 2026 weekends are June 19-21 and August 14-16 at Santa Anita Park, plus October 9-11 at the Alameda County Fairgrounds. The June Arcadia weekend is complete; the August Arcadia listing has venue and ticket details for the summer run.

Weekend night markets move fast; having tickets and a rough arrival plan saves time once you are on site.
