FAB Bangali Durga Puja 2026 at Sai Baba Temple in Redmond

Fab Bangali, the Seattle-area Bengali group that writes its name Fab বাঙ্গালী, is listing Durga Puja Friday through Sunday, October 16–18, 2026, at Shirdi Sai Baba Temple in Redmond. The address is 18109 NE 76th Street, Unit 108, Redmond 98052. Their announcement says free entry for everyone.

Hours are not on the Probase listing or the temple calendar. Skip any 11-to-6 clock you see on an events site. Check Fab Bangali’s Facebook closer to the weekend, or ask at the temple desk.

The room is a temple suite in an Overlake business park, not a fairgrounds hangar. Saibaba Seattle, the 501(c)(3) that runs the shrine, posts regular darshan around morning and evening aarti and a closed stretch in the afternoon. Those are daily temple hours. Wait for Fab Bangali before you treat them as the festival clock.

This is the same October 16–18 weekend as Bhindeshi’s Sharod Utsav at the Weikel Event Center in Monroe. Bhindeshi wants an Eventic RSVP and sells food coupons. Fab Bangali is pitching a free door in Redmond. Uttoron’s Sharodotsav is the weekend before, October 9–11, at Magnuson Park Hangar 30, with registration required and posted non-member prices.

Several other Bengali groups also appear on Probase for mid-October. Moitri’s own site does not lock a 2026 hall. Treat Fab Bangali as the Redmond temple date we can name, not as the only puja in the metro.

Ananda Mela already happened August 8–9 on the Redmond City Hall lawn. That was the outdoor city festival. This is a rented shrine suite for a long weekend. NE 76th sits east of 148th, in the Overlake corridor. The 2 Line’s Overlake Village and Redmond Technology stations are the closest trains, then a short bus or rideshare. Parking is lot-and-unit, not a stadium deck. Look for Unit 108. The temple phone on public listings is (425) 999-6350. Saibaba Seattle’s site is saibabaseattle.com.

Wear puja clothes if you have them. Bring cash or a card for bhog if they sell it. Confirm the Facebook post the Thursday before, in case the suite hours shift. If both Redmond and Monroe are open that weekend, pick the hall you can reach without rushing. The temple suite is the closer Eastside option. Monroe is the larger fairgrounds box.

Our take: go here if you want a free Eastside puja and you already know this temple. If you want a full cultural hall with a published clock, Uttoron the week before is the clearer plan. Monroe the same weekend is the bigger drive-out.
