The Korean Association of Dallas is listing the 2026 Korean Festival for Saturday and Sunday, November 14–15, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. both days at The Vista Shopping Center in Lewisville. The lot address most listings use is 2401 South Stemmons Freeway. Korean press and the on-site K-beauty activation also point at the Zion Market side around 2405. Same retail campus on I-35E. Free admission for the festival itself. Surface parking is the plan.
This is the association's return to a full Korean Festival framing after a smaller Chuseok-style 2025 run. Korean-language coverage from Weekly Focus Texas and Korea Town News describes K-food booths, K-beauty, cultural experience areas, traditional performance and K-pop on Saturday, and live band sets on Sunday. The association has been recruiting musicians and vendors through dallaskorea@gmail.com and 214-306-3200. Treat stage names as still filling until the week of.
A separate $10 KUMIHO K-Beauty Experience ticket sells through Luma for skin consults and brand sampling inside the festival. That ticket is optional. The festival gate stays free. Do not buy beauty access thinking it is required to enter the lot.
Lewisville's Stemmons stretch already holds Korean restaurants and grocery traffic. The festival sits in that everyday corridor instead of a downtown park. Panda Fest was November 6–8 at Carpenter Park. That was a ticketed Asian food festival downtown on Diwali weekend. This is the free Korean association weekend two weeks later in Denton County. Different job, different drive.
The same Saturday, Dallas Bengali Festival is at Lewisville Grand Theater on Charles Street in Old Town. You can do the Vista lot by day and the Grand by evening if you leave the parking lot before traffic locks Stemmons. Taste of Korea in Plano is the following weekend at Park Pavilion Center on Coit. That is a shorter expo-style card closer to Plano's Korean retail strip.
Who this is for: Korean American families from Carrollton, Flower Mound, Plano, and Dallas who want a free two-day lot festival with food and a stage. Skip it if you needed reserved theater seats. That is the Bengali night across town, or a different ticket entirely.
Saturday usually packs earlier. Sunday afternoon is often the calmer browse. Wear shoes you can stand in on asphalt. Confirm any last booth map through the association closer to the weekend. Eventbrite is the public RSVP card; the association phone is for vendor and volunteer questions.
When: November 14–15, 2026 (11:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. both days)
Where: The Vista / Zion Market area, 2401 S Stemmons Fwy, Lewisville, TX 75067
Listing on Eventbrite.

Velveting, explained as a Chinese kitchen technique
Velveting is the Chinese prep step that keeps stir-fry chicken and shrimp tender instead of rubbery: a cornstarch-and-oil coat, a rest, then a quick par-cook before the wok. Here is how it works and why diaspora cooks are finally seeing the name match the method.
