Okinawan FEASTival runs September 7–21, 2026 across Oʻahu with specials at Okinawan-owned restaurants following the Convention Center festival weekend.

After Okinawan Festival at the Convention Center on September 5–6, Hawaii Okinawans ask you to keep eating. FEASTival runs Monday, September 7 through Sunday, September 21, 2026, at Okinawan-owned restaurants across Oʻahu.
There are about 65 of them still open. Hawaii Okinawans keeps the current list on hawaiiokinawans.com. Some kitchens put on two-week specials or bring back dishes they usually only make if you ask. Order the Okinawan plate even if it is not printed. That is the point.
Yuimaaru is the word they use: communities holding each other up. You do not need a wristband. Pick two or three spots you have never tried, and one you already love. Andagi, soki soba, and rafute are the usual tests.
This is a restaurant crawl, so plan like one. Make a reservation where they take them. Share plates. Honolulu traffic at dinner will eat your evening if you try to hit four spots. Two is enough. Leave a review if the andagi was good.
