Taste of Japan 2026 fills STC Anaheim GardenWalk the weekend of June 19 through June 21, turning the Disney-adjacent complex into a three-day Japanese food and culture fair.

Organizers bill the seventh annual edition as drawing more than 50,000 visitors in prior years, with general admission free and more than 100 Southern California Japanese vendors selling food and cultural goods across the venue levels.

Hours, venue, and parking

The festival runs at 400 W Disney Way, Anaheim, CA, near Disney California Adventure.

Listing partners including OC-On The Town note Friday, June 19 opening at 4:00 p.m. with programming continuing through the weekend. Confirm daily hours on tasteofjpn.com before you go, because festival schedules can shift by day.

Parking is available in the GardenWalk garage, with overflow lots announced closer to the event. Organizers encourage ride sharing for guests heading to the paid sake garden.

Food, stage, and Kanpai Yokocho

Expect the usual festival mix: ramen, street snacks, seasonal sweets, and vendor booths spread across the property. The event is dog-friendly, which matters if you are planning a family afternoon between Disneyland trips and night-market runs.

A main stage hosts J-pop and traditional Japanese performances throughout the weekend.

Adults 21 and up can add Kanpai Yokocho, the indoor beer and sake garden, with general admission tickets listed at $5 and VIP tasting packages at higher tiers on the official site.

Why it fits a crowded June calendar

Southern California already has 626 Night Market and Little Saigon Night Market on the same calendar window. Taste of Japan is the Japan-specific anchor: fewer pan-Asian fusion stalls, more concentrated Japanese vendors and stage programming.

If you want one structured Japanese food weekend before NYAFF travel season kicks in, this is the OC option with free entry and a fixed three-day window.
