Stray Kids open STRAYCITY in Mexico City tonight
Two sold-out nights at Estadio GNP Seguros, Sept. 25-26. NEXZ plus Mexican openers RENEE and Andrés Obregón. Mexico's president named the show Thursday and floated a BTS 2027 return that HYBE has not confirmed.

Stray Kids play Mexico City tonight. Yesterday Mexico's president, Claudia Sheinbaum, said their name out loud, standing next to South Korea's Lee Jae-myung.
Two sold-out nights at Estadio GNP Seguros, the old Foro Sol in Iztacalco. Friday and Saturday.
Ticketmaster has 6:30 p.m. on the Friday listing. Saturday is already gone too.
This is STRAYCITY, the Live Nation and JYP festival they built around themselves, and Mexico City is the last stop. NEXZ, the JYP group that opened their Rock in Rio headline two weeks ago, is on the bill again.
Mexico also gets two local openers. RENEE, the Monterrey songwriter who won a 2025 Latin Grammy for "La Torre." Andrés Obregón, from León, Guanajuato, with a new album called Todo Pasa.
The festival swaps the local bill by city. These two are the Mexico night.
Our read: the demand showed up before the first note. Bogotá was a one-night debut on September 9. Buenos Aires added a second Hipódromo de San Isidro show after the first date sold out in hours. Mexico City added Saturday back in May.
They know this room. In April 2025, on the dominATE tour, they sold it out two nights running. The poster this time has their own festival name on it. Five nights, three cities.
At Palacio Nacional on Thursday she used Friday as the cultural talking point. That morning she had called the group "kind of like BTS, but younger."
"Tomorrow, the group Stray Kids will perform in our country, and we are also looking forward to BTS' arrival in Mexico again in 2027."
Fans waited at the balcony anyway, hoping for a wave like the one BTS gave from that building in May. Only the two presidents came out. BTS has not confirmed 2027. HYBE has not posted a date or a venue.
Sheinbaum also mentioned a possible K-pop culture center in Mexico. No dates on that either. The show is a 65,000-capacity stadium, sold out twice.
Our take: 2027 is still a hope from the podium. Friday sold out in May.
