Agent Kim Reactivated closes tonight with episode 10 on SBS and Netflix after climbing from a 9.5 percent premiere to 23.1 percent and three straight weeks at Netflix non-English No. 1. The short run was the flex.

Episode 10 airs tonight. That is the logistical fact. The interesting fact is that Agent Kim Reactivated already won July before the ending landed.
SBS moves the finale up five minutes to 9:45 p.m. KST on July 25, with a slightly longer runtime. Netflix drops the same episode for international viewers on the Friday-Saturday simulcast rhythm the show has used since June 26. Ten episodes. About a month. No mid-season vacation. That shortness is part of why the numbers feel loud: the show never had time to become background noise.
What the month already proved
Premiere night opened at 9.5 percent nationwide (Nielsen Korea), already the highest miniseries premiere of 2026. Episode 8 on July 18 hit 23.1 percent nationwide, 23.6 percent in Seoul, and a 26.2 percent peak, first across every channel in the slot and still the year’s highest-rated Korean miniseries. Our early-July ratings note asked whether 18.8 percent would hold. It did not hold. It climbed.
On Netflix, the same title sat at global non-English No. 1 for three straight weeks. The July 13–19 window logged about 8.2 million views and 72 million hours, No. 1 in 19 countries and Top 10 in 73, even as other Korean titles stacked the chart underneath it. Broadcast ratings and streaming hours fed each other instead of spoiling one audience for the other. That is the real infrastructure story of the summer.
Why So Ji-sub was the bet
So Ji-sub is 48. He plays Kim Do-hyeon as a father first and a reactivated North-South operative second, the webtoon Manager Kim logic without turning age into a joke. The cast around him, especially Choi Dae-hoon and Yoon Kyung-ho, sold the “Dad Universe” camaraderie that Korean coverage kept naming. How to watch tonight
