Friday and Saturday: close Agent Kim
SBS runs the Friday-Saturday pair; Netflix drops the same episodes abroad. Episode 8 already hit 23.1 percent nationwide (Nielsen Korea), and the show held Netflix’s global non-English No. 1 with 9.1 million views in the week ending July 12. Production has teased twists and heavier action through the final mission, then a special broadcast on July 31 and August 1 with behind-the-scenes and cast interviews.
So Ji-sub plays retired covert agent Kim Do-hyeon as a father first. If you are current, protect Friday and Saturday nights for the ending. If you are behind, do not start episode one on finale weekend unless you can clear a real catch-up block. Sample and decide, or wait for the specials. Saturday and Sunday: Spooky episodes 3 and 4
Spooky in Love continues July 25 and 26 on tvN at 21:10 KST, with Netflix simulcast outside Korea. Episodes run about 70 minutes. Park Eun-bin’s Cheon Yeo-ri still passes ghost-sight through touch; Yang Se-jong’s prosecutor stays useful on cold cases and useless around spirits. Ong Seong-wu remains the rival hotel-heir complication.
Episode 2 opened at 5.320 percent nationwide after a 3.0 percent premiere, so the show already proved it can climb. Watch Saturday after Agent Kim if you have gas left, or save both Spooky episodes for Sunday morning coffee. The tone is warmer than a palace-curse binge, which is the point.
Thursday night hold: Wild Sing
Wild Sing arrives on Netflix July 30 PT / July 31 KST: Gang Dong-won, Um Tae-goo, Park Ji-hyun, and Oh Jung-se as a Y2K co-ed idol reunion comedy from director Son Jae-gon. Korean theaters put it near 1.3 million admissions; Netflix is packaging 32 subtitle languages and 15 dubs. Save it for a lighter night after the finale hangover, not as background while Agent Kim is still unresolved.
Optional catch-up and leaving the house
Still finishing The East Palace? All eight episodes have been on Netflix since July 17. Treat it as a closed binge only if the appointment stack feels too loud and you want one finished story instead of weekly drops.
