Bangiya Parishad Durga Puja 2026 at Tagore Centre
Bangiya Parishad Toronto lists Durga Puja October 16–19, 2026 at Tagore Centre, 140 Millwick Drive, North York. The posted table puts Shashthi at 10:30 a.m. Friday and Saptami at 6:30 p.m. the same day. Lakshmi Puja is October 25 in the evening.

Bangiya Parishad Toronto is listing শ্রী শ্রী দুর্গাপূজা 2026 at Tagore Centre, 140 Millwick Drive, North York. The printed days run Friday, October 16, through Monday, October 19.
The parishad has been organizing Bengali cultural life in Toronto since 1971. Tagore Centre is their Millwick Drive hall, west of Keele in the Weston and Finch warehouse band, not a temple campus and not Mel Lastman Square.
The table on bangiyaparishad.ca is the clock we have. Friday lists Shashthi at 10:30 a.m. and Saptami at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, October 17, is Ashtami at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, October 18, is Navami at 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 19, is Dashami "as per schedule." Lakshmi Puja is Sunday, October 25, in the evening, no start time.
That Friday double listing is how the page and the 2026 flyer are set. The flyer spells it "Shaptami." We are not quietly moving Saptami to Saturday to match another temple. If you are coming Friday, plan for a morning Shashthi and an evening Saptami unless the parishad reprints the grid.
Toronto Kalibari in Mississauga opens its pandal October 15 and prints Sandhi to the minute on October 19. Bongo Poribar is the free Oakville hall the same weekend with its own Saturday and Sunday clock. Bangiya is the North York address if you want a west-end industrial hall instead of a Pearson-area temple or a Halton rental.
North York Diwali Fest is October 23–25 on Yonge at Mel Lastman Square, after Dashami. You can do puja week here and still walk the civic lawn the next weekend. They are different corridors. Millwick is for anjali. Yonge is for the plaza stage.
Email is bangiyatoronto@gmail.com. No door price is on the 2026 page. Treat it as a community hall until they say otherwise. Bring puja clothes if you have them. Ask about bhog at the desk. The page also sells the usual five-day warmth, Bodhon through Dashami, then Lakshmi a week later. The useful part is the table. Use the times. Ignore the leftover Latin placeholder text under the grid. That is a template leftover, not a program note.
Who this is for: Bengali families already on the Bangiya Parishad list, and North York or Vaughan households who will not drive to Mississauga for every anjali. Skip it if you need Kalibari's overnight Sandhi clock. That temple printed one. This hall did not.
Our take: Friday evening Saptami if you can only come once and the table still reads that way. Saturday Ashtami if you want the weekend morning. Check the parishad email the Thursday before, in case they unstack Friday.
When: October 16–19, 2026 (see posted table; Lakshmi Puja Oct 25 evening)
Where: Tagore Centre, 140 Millwick Dr, North York, ON M9L 1Y6
