Toronto Kalibari Durga, Lakshmi, and Shyama Puja 2026

Toronto Kalibari posts Durga Puja at its Mississauga temple, 6815 Professional Court. The pandal opens to the public Thursday evening, October 15, 2026. Ritual days run through Bijoya Dashami on Tuesday, October 20.

This is a standing Kali temple, not a rented North York or Oakville hall. The house keeps a permanent shrine calendar. Durga week sits on top of that, then Lakshmi and Shyama extend the same address into late October and Diwali Sunday.

Sashti Amantran and Adhibas begin Friday, October 16, from 6:30 p.m. Maha Saptami and Maha Ashtami, October 17 and 18, start from 10:00 a.m., with morning pushpanjali from 11:30 a.m. and evening puja from 7:00 p.m. Kumari Puja is Sunday from 8:00 p.m.

Sandhi Puja is timed to the minute: Monday, October 19, 12:58 to 1:46 a.m. Maha Navami that morning starts from 11:00 a.m., with pushpanjali from 12:30 p.m. and Saptashti Chandi Havan from 2:45 p.m. Dashami is Tuesday from 10:00 a.m., sindur dan from noon, and evening Kali puja from 7:00 p.m.

Mahalaya sits before the pandal opens. Saturday, October 10, has tarpan from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Kali Pujo from 7:30 p.m. Sunday, October 11, is the Mahisasurmardini program with Sathee Krishnakali Sengupta and troupe from 7:30 p.m. Count those if you want the full Kalibari week.

Kojagori Lakshmi Puja is Sunday, October 25, from 7:00 p.m. Shri Shri Shyama Puja is Sunday, November 8, from 7:30 p.m., with Dasha Mahabidya Kali from midnight. November 8 is Diwali. Viet Expo is daytime Mississauga that Sunday. Diwali Milan is the night before in Richmond Hill.

Bangiya Parishad is Tagore Centre, North York, October 16–19. Bongo Poribar is a free Oakville hall October 17–18 with no hours. Kalibari is the Pearson-side temple if you need overnight Sandhi and a Kali night in November. Pick the address you can reach.

Ordinary contact-page times (6:30 p.m. on listed weekdays, 12:30 p.m. Sundays) are daily darshan, not the festival grid.

Who this is for: Bengali Hindu families who want posted anjali times and a Kali temple for Shyama on Diwali. Skip it if you wanted a concert plaza. RazzMatazz already covered that on October 9–11.

Our take: Saturday Saptami or Sunday Ashtami if you can only come once. Stay for Sandhi if you can handle a 1 a.m. window. November 8 is the Diwali night to protect if Durga week is too many drives.
