JAPAN Fes lists its August 1, 2026 New Jersey stop at Overpeck County Park with event hours 11 a.m.–8 p.m. (vendor load-in earlier). The roaming Japanese street-food festival format matches the NYC editions: kakigori, taiyaki, karaage, takoyaki, and rotating stalls rather than a ticketed indoor show.

Expect park parking pressure on a summer Saturday. The weekend before, Astoria hosted the Queens edition. A second New Jersey date is listed October 17 in Jersey City; treat the Overpeck map as day-of truth for August 1.

When: August 1, 2026 (11 a.m.–8 p.m.)
Where: Pavilion, Overpeck County Park, Ridgefield Park, NJ

Confirm stall list and any rain notes on the JAPAN Fes New Jersey 2026 page. Manhattan’s Midtown West edition follows August 2.

Why people aren't talking about The Scarecrow

ENA's The Scarecrow finished strong with Park Hae-soo and Lee Hee-joon, built real cable heat in Korea, and still sat outside the loudest North American K-drama chatter. Here is what the series is, and why the buzz gap matters.
