The Silicon Valley Asian Pacific FilmFest lists its 12th edition Thursday through Sunday, October 22–25, 2026, under the theme The Connecting Power of Film. The fest is a project of Contemporary Asian Theater Scene, CATS, the long-running Silicon Valley Asian American theater and film org.

The in-person schedule page has clock blocks and titles. The official 2026 jumbo postcard is where the rooms finally appear. Thursday, October 22, opening night is at De Anza College Visual and Performing Arts Center in Cupertino, co-sponsored with the Euphrat Museum of Art. Friday through Sunday, October 23–25, the postcard lists AMC Sunnyvale Theatres. A virtual festival follows October 26 through November 1 for people who cannot attend in person.

Thursday runs 5:30 to 10:00 p.m., with a screening of The Rose: Come Back to Me and access to the opening of the Euphrat Museum exhibit Threads of Resilience. Friday, October 23, is 7:00 to 9:15 p.m., billed as a dinner-and-movie special with a free pre-release screening of Cambodian Rock Band. That free line is the clearest single-ticket hook on the page if it still holds when you buy.

Saturday, October 24, stacks shorts from 11:00 a.m.: Beyond a Single Story, Animation, and From Hate to Hope, then the evening feature Hoop Like This at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, October 25, opens with the Healing through Connection shorts at 11:00 a.m., the feature Row Don't Drift: An American Legacy at 2:00 p.m., and the Learn Who We Are shorts from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Times, films, and guests are marked subject to change.

Early-bird tickets were advertised through September 30 with code svapff-eb25 for 25 percent off. The ticket-info page also flags additional discounts for ages 55+ and students. The schedule page does not print a public dollar amount. Do not invent a pass price; buy through Eventive from the festival site.

Saturday collides with FOG Diwali Mela, San Jose Diwali Carnival, Walnut Creek, and UNDSCVRD. Pick a film block or a mela. 3rd i in San Francisco is already finished by then.

Who this is for: South Bay viewers who want Asian Pacific titles after CAAMFest's spring run, and anyone who can reach Cupertino Thursday or Sunnyvale Friday through Sunday. Skip the Saturday stack if Diwali fairs are already your day and you can catch the virtual week instead.

Our take: Friday for the free Cambodian Rock Band slot if that still holds. Thursday if you want De Anza plus the museum opening. Saturday only if you can skip the Diwali fairs or you are aiming at one shorts block, not the whole corridor.

When: October 22–25, 2026 in person; virtual October 26–November 1
Where: De Anza College VPAC (Thu); AMC Sunnyvale Theatres (Fri–Sun); virtual track after

Schedule at svapfilmfest.org/schedule.
