Las Vegas Asian food works when you leave the Strip's resort menus and commit to Spring Mountain Road. Chinatown here is a three-mile plaza corridor from roughly Valley View west toward Rainbow: Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Thai, Filipino, Taiwanese, and more packed into shared parking lots a few minutes from the resorts. Chinatown Plaza's paifang and Journey to the West statues are the photo orientation point; 99 Ranch anchors the grocery run next door. H Mart finally opened on Decatur near Sahara in April 2025. Filipino density also lives east on Maryland Parkway at Seafood City (with Jollibee and Red Ribbon in the same stack) and farther out at Island Pacific on Nellis. Northern Thai flagship Lotus of Siam sits off Flamingo, with its original Commercial Center Sahara address back in the mix after a 2026 reopen. Pick one plaza cluster and one late-night stop. Neighborhoods to know
Chinatown Plaza / Spring Mountain core
Chinatown Plaza at 4205 Spring Mountain Road opened in the mid-1990s as the corridor's manufactured gate district: ornamental paifang, Journey to the West sculpture in the lot, and 99 Ranch at 4215 Spring Mountain for the Chinese supermarket haul. Around it, older plazas between Valley View and Decatur hold soup-dumpling rooms, late-night phở, and Korean BBQ. Free plaza parking is the tax; weekend nights mean circling.
Pacific Asian Plaza / west Spring Mountain
West of Decatur toward Rainbow, newer complexes stack Japanese omakase and izakaya, Korean BBQ halls, and Thai rooms. Aburiya Raku on Spring Mountain is the reservation robata night chefs still chase. Hobak and Weera Thai sit in the same corridor math. Treat west Spring Mountain as its own half-day after a Plaza grocery run, or skip the grocery and go straight to dinner.
Decatur / Sahara (H Mart + Korean)
H Mart at 2620 S Decatur Blvd near Sahara is the valley's first H Mart, with a food-hall stack (Paik's Noodle, bb.q Chicken, and more) that turned opening day into a local event in April 2025. Nearby Sahara and Decatur also hold AYCE Korean BBQ and older Korean soup rooms. Do not confuse this with Spring Mountain plaza parking; it is a separate northbound hop.
Maryland Parkway / Filipino Town
Seafood City at 3890 S Maryland Pkwy is the east-of-Strip Filipino supermarket hub near UNLV and Boulevard Mall territory, with Jollibee, Red Ribbon, Chowking, and hot-food counters in the same complex. Fiesta Filipina on Jones is a sit-down Filipino plate stop closer to Spring Mountain if you want restaurant energy without the Maryland drive.
Nellis / east valley Filipino
Island Pacific at 317 N Nellis Blvd covers east-side Filipino grocery, Goldilocks bakery, and PhilHouse plates. Orient here when you are already east, or when Pinoy Festival weekend sends you that way. Skip stacking Maryland and Nellis before dinner.
Flamingo / Commercial Center (Thai flagship lane)
Lotus of Siam put Las Vegas on the national Thai map from its Commercial Center Sahara home; the Flamingo Road location is the durable reservation room, and Sahara Suite A5 returned as the original-address reopen in 2026. Book ahead. This is a destination dinner, not a Spring Mountain add-on after three plazas.
