Saturday and Sunday: Spooky episodes 5 and 6
Spooky in Love continues August 1 and 2 on tvN at 21:10 KST, with Netflix simulcast outside Korea. Episodes run about 70 minutes. Park Eun-bin’s Cheon Yeo-ri still passes ghost-sight through touch; Yang Se-jong’s prosecutor stays useful on cold cases and useless around spirits. Ong Seong-wu remains the hotel-heir complication.
Episode 4 hit 5.810 percent nationwide (Nielsen Korea), the series high so far after a 3.0 percent premiere. Episode 5 stills put Yeo-ri face-to-face with a Joseon-era court painter ghost at a museum event, so the weekend pair leans further into case-of-the-week atmosphere than pure meet-cute. Watch both after dinner, or save Sunday morning if Saturday night already belongs to the MBC slot.
Saturday: Married Woman Killer episode 2
MBC’s Married Woman Killer (유부녀 킬러, also titled A Bona Fide Killer) premiered Friday at 7.4 percent nationwide and airs episode 2 Saturday at 21:50 KST. Gong Hyo-jin plays Yoo Bo-na, a working mom and one-shot assassin balancing a sales-desk return with the job that keeps her family in danger. Jung Joon-won is her reporter husband; Lee Sang-yi is the detective circling closer. Kim Eun-hee wrote it from the Kakao Webtoon of the same name.
This is Gong’s genre pivot after years of rom-com shorthand, and the premiere already filled the Friday-Saturday hole Agent Kim left behind. International streaming varies by region, so confirm MBC, Wavve, or your local licensor before you promise a group-chat watch party. If you skipped episode 1, sample Saturday only if you can tolerate starting mid-double-life. Our take: treat it as the sharper appointment, Spooky as the warmer one. Do not run both Saturday night slots back to back unless your brain likes assassin logistics next to soft ghosts.
Film binge: Wild Sing is already on Netflix
Wild Sing landed July 30 PT / July 31 KST: Gang Dong-won, Um Tae-goo, Park Ji-hyun, and Oh Jung-se as a Y2K co-ed idol reunion comedy from director Son Jae-gon. Korean theaters put it near 1.3 million admissions; Netflix shipped 32 subtitle languages and 15 dubs. If the weekend drama stack feels too appointment-heavy, this is the one closed story you can finish Sunday afternoon and still have a take for Monday.

A Shop for Killers Season 2 is mid-run on Disney+ internationally and Hulu in the U.S., with the next two-episode drop Wednesday, August 5, and the finale August 12. Disney Korea already called the July 22 launch the platform’s biggest Korean-original first day worldwide.
